The first time you connect to the WebTV service, your Internet receiver
dials a toll-free 800 number to find the two
access numbers nearest you.
From then on, your terminal
tries to connect using the first of these numbers.
If that number is busy, it tries the second.
If neither of these lines is open, your
terminal calls the 800 number again to
find the next closest number.
